Slash
For one night only Rock Legend “SLASH” paid us a visit to try out some new licks and reminded us that he mentioned JHL in his autobiography…(see page 184) which brought back great memories for us all….it reads…..

”WE REHEARSED AT JOHN HENRY’S a famous studio where everybody who is anybody has done the same. It’s the equivalent of S.I.R. in LA., but with a English sensibility-it’s just a bit more “proper”. It was very cool, because lining the hallways were road cases that said MOTORHEAD, IRON MAIDEN and THIN LIZZY. The place had a amazing vibe………” ….and still has.

A Winters Tale

After one of the most Hectic winters in the history of John Henry's encompassing The European Music Awards, The Brits, Jools Holland, When Will I Be Famous, Strictly Come Dancing, ...Problem with Maria, Diana Ross, George Michael, Aerosmith, Joe Walsh, McFly, Pete Townsend, Beyonce, The View, Kasabian, The Killers, Sean Lennon, Lilly Allen, Bill Wyman, John Lord, Brian Wilson, Crowded House, Amy Winehouse, Coldplay, Andrea Bocelli, Dionne Warwick and many many more - a record breaking level of equipment passing through our Audio, Backline, Drum and Staging Departments (including over 94 drum kits prepared and despatched in a single week), any other company may be ready for putting up it’s feet and relaxing for a month or so.

Not keen on taking breathers, we have decided to introduce used equipment sales to our Pro Shop floor. As well as the used equipment page on our site, we also have an eBay shop front for your perusal and a dedicated used equipment sales person (paulc@johnhenrys.com).

Because of our constant expansion and equipment purchasing / replacing regime we can offer our customers a range of ex-hire equipment at discount rates not only to the industry, but to the general public. Everything from Guitar Amplifiers to PA Speakers and Drum Kits to Lighting Rigs are up for sale, if you don't see what you require - just ask! We have years of experience in helping people make the best choices for their equipment, so you know you'll be in good hands.
