Ozzy Osbourne and his band paid a visit to JHL last month for a week's rehearsal before setting out on their European tour.

Ozzy has been a long term customer here at JHL, going right back to the late 70's when he started his solo career and has made many visits to us over the years.

He is still as amazing as ever and his latest band line up is fantastic. Ozzy also met with John Henry to re-sign the Gibson Les Paul 10' guitar sculpture that we invested in after the Gibson London Guitar Town Exhibition in aid of worthy charities. His signature had faded a bit due to being out in all weathers for a few weeks during the exhibition!

JHL supplied the entire Backline requirement for the MTV special event that was held in Georgia, Russia last month. The specification was very high but with his usual attention to detail JHL's Pepin Clout pulled it off with the back up of the best Backline Department in the business.........thanks to Jamie Pentlow and the boys.

JHL are extremely busy at the moment servicing the very busy Festival season.

JHL's Tark Bates and the Backline team serviced yet another great T4 event and this time the weather held and everyone had a ball. There was a massive request for all backline including Guitars, basses, amplifiers, cabinets, combos, keyboards, drums and percussion. More.

JHL continue to cover Backline and specialist Audio requirements for LATER...with Jools Holland, Pop Star to Opera Star, Paul O'Grady Show, Graham Norton Show, Alan Titchmarsh Show, This Morning, Daybreak, The Crush, The Album Chart Show, T4, Loose Women, Live from Abbey Road and Lorraine to name but a few.

JHL once again provided full production for this amazing event which is held at the Wintershall Estate in Surrey. This year's line up included the Soul Sanctuary Choir, The Listening Device, STAX with Kiki Dee, FABBAGIRLS, The Jones Gang (featuring Kenny Jones and Ronnie Wood), the Roger Taylor Band featuring Jeff Beck and finally, the Band du Lac featuring Gary Brooker, Eric Clapton, Lulu, Georgie Fame, Paul Carrack, Andy Fairweather Low and their fantastic backing band. What a night!

The last time this event happened it was filmed and recorded and is still available on DVD - it is well worth a look as, like this one, it was an amazing night.

The third Blaze festival took place this summer with a fantastic range of events in the Barbican and across East London. It featured major international artists, UK exclusives and new commissions from across the globe. JHL supplied backline to a huge number of artists. This year they included: Gregg Allman, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Madeleine Peyroux, Irma Thomas, Aurelio Martinez, Red Baraat, Owiny Sigoma, Terence Blanchard, Esperanza Spalding, Randy Brecker, Canadian Blast and many more.
